Plan the dayyou actually have.
Flow puts your tasks, your meetings and your focus time on one honest timeline. Write things down in plain words, give them real time, then work on one thing at a time.
Free while in beta. No account needed. Apple Silicon, macOS 12 or later.

Write it the way you’d say it.
Press ⌃⌥N in any app and type one line. Flow reads the details as you go, so there’s no form to fill in.

fri 2-4pma day and a time, like tomorrow, Oct 30 or next week
30mhow long it takes
A timeline that tells the truth.
Blocks are as long as the work. Drag tasks onto the day, pull an edge to resize, and see at a glance what fits and what doesn’t.

Inbox, Today, Someday
Every task has a stage. Today splits into Unscheduled and Scheduled, so you can see what still needs a time.
Three dates, kept apart
When you’ll do it, when it’s due and when it’s blocked out are separate, so a deadline never pretends to be a plan.
Your calendar, alongside
Meetings from your Mac’s calendars show on the timeline, read-only, so plans work around them.
One thing at a time.
Press ⇧⌘F and the block happening now fills a calm card over the dimmed window, with its timer and subtasks. Nothing else asks for you.
Left on Polish onboarding flow, ending at 12:00 PM.
Every session is recorded
Pause, resume, stop. Your goals and estimates learn from what you actually did.
Undo that goes all the way
⌘Z brings back anything you created, edited, completed or deleted.

Goals that know what you did.
Give work a reason. A goal has a why, a weekly hours target and milestones, and every focus session counts toward it.
Help that asks first
The assistant turns your own tasks and time into suggestions. Each one is a proposal you apply or dismiss.
Private by default
It uses Apple’s on-device model where Apple Intelligence is available, and Flow’s built-in rules everywhere else. You can add your own API key if you want a cloud model.

Habits, without the guilt.
Every day, some weekdays or four times a week. Habits keep their time free on the timeline. A missed day is just missed: nothing piles up.
Streaks that are fair
A four-times-a-week habit counts weeks, not days, so a rest day never breaks it.
Repeats that behave
Daily, weekly and monthly tasks make the next one when you finish, keeping its time.

The same plan, in your pocket.
Flow for iPhone opens on what’s happening now. Sign in on both and your Mac and iPhone stay in step.

Built for the keyboard.
⌘K searches everything and runs any command. The mouse works everywhere; you just won’t need it.

Your plans stay yours.
Flow is local-first. Your day lives in one file on your Mac, and nothing leaves it unless you choose.
Saved the moment you change it
One file in your Mac’s Application Support folder. Writes are atomic and kept in order, so a crash can’t scramble your day.
No account needed
Flow works fully without one. Sign in only if you want your Mac and iPhone to sync.
You decide what the assistant sees
With your own API key, you choose whether meeting titles and task notes are sent. Meetings can go as “Busy”.
A quiet website, too
This page uses your system fonts and loads nothing from other sites. No tracking.
Make room for the work that matters.
Free while in beta, with every feature on this page. For Apple Silicon Macs on macOS 12 or later.
Questions, answered plainly.
Where is my data stored?
In a single file in your Mac’s Application Support folder. If you sign in, it also syncs to your account so your iPhone has the same plan.
Does Flow use AI?
Only as much as you want. Where Apple Intelligence is available, the assistant uses Apple’s on-device model; otherwise it uses Flow’s built-in rules. You can add your own key for Anthropic, OpenAI or DeepSeek. Every change it suggests is a proposal you apply or dismiss.
How is this different from my calendar or to-do app?
Flow is both, on one timeline. A task has a stage, a planned day, a due date and a time block, so your list and your calendar can’t disagree.
What if I miss a day?
Unfinished tasks wait for you to decide what to do with them. Habits just record the missed day; they never turn into a guilt list.
Which Macs does it run on?
Apple Silicon Macs (M1 or later) on macOS 12 or later. Apple Intelligence features need macOS 26 with Apple Intelligence turned on.
What does it cost?
Flow is free while in beta.
